History of Old Colony Chapter
The Founding of Old Colony Chapter
Through the efforts of "Dad" Albert D. Healey and "Dad" Chester I. Campbell in 1923, four local Masonic Lodges (Theodore Roosevelt, Wollaston, Atlantic, and Rural Lodges) agreed to raise $1,000 for the institution of a DeMolay Chapter in Quincy. On March 24, 1924, Old Colony Chapter was instituted with George Laing as the first Master Councilor, "Dad" Chester I. Campbell as Chairman of the Advisory Board, and "Dad" Albert D. Healey as Dad Advisor.
